Hi, I’m Katrina Fox, strategic storytelling consultant for vegan leaders.

Two things have always driven me–standing up for my values and storytelling. Today, I’m able to do both. I help vegan leaders craft stories that inspire action—through social media, pitches, and presentations on-stage, online, and in the boardroom.

I gravitated towards veganism even before I understood what that meant.

At age 11, I swore off meat and rejected animal cruelty.

As an adult, I became vegan at the same time I became a journalist nearly 30 years ago.

I worked in niche media in the HR industry, in construction, and LGBTQ organizations to communicate their ideas and values, but I felt like I didn’t always have the opportunity to be true to my own.

Whenever I could, I’d sneak in articles about animal causes. It worked, but it wasn’t enough. I wanted to make a bigger impact.

I wanted to use my hard-earned skills and talents to advance my values and work with others who share them, but I wasn’t sure how to get started.

At the same time, I started to meet more and more entrepreneurs…other people who were taking the risk to live a life where they had more control over their work and the positive change they could create in the world.

And then one night in 2014, it happened. It came to me. An idea so powerfully obvious now, but back then the realization caused me to sit bolt upright in bed.

I could write for entrepreneurs starting vegan ventures—sharing their stories and helping others build ethical, values-based businesses aligned with their beliefs.

I started interviewing dozens of vegan business owners all around the world, and I wrote a best-selling book that sold thousands of copies and helped thousands of people learn how to build their own values-based business.

These business owners don’t choose the easiest path. Most didn’t choose the most profitable path. They chose a path aligned with something more important to them–their values.

But, being successful in business requires you to communicate your personal values AND your business value in a way the people you serve best can hear and understand.

👉 That’s what I do for vegan business owners and corporate professionals today–even if the business you operate or work in isn’t directly a “vegan venture”.
